This is the wine for big celebrations: Weddings and Anniversaries, those Once-In-A-Decade-Family-Catch-Ups, or the achievement of that Key-Milestone. You can, of course, make Fowles Wine Shiraz your Mid-Week-Tipple, but only if you like living in serious style.
TASTING NOTES
This Shiraz is a bright and youthful red colour with some rich purple hues. On the nose are aromas of plum, raspberry, chocolate and oak spice. The palate is full with flavours of plum pudding and red fruits.
PAIR WITH
Fowles Wine Shiraz is a fuller, fruitier style than, say, Pinot Noir. And so Shiraz can match to stronger foods like char-grilled meats, game meats, earthy flavours like truffles and mushrooms, and pies. Shiraz definitely loves pies.
