How can I ensure the best quality print?
Image quality is everything! If you’re using any of our pre-loaded elements from our photo and graphics library you won’t need to worry about a thing – it’s all high resolution and print ready. If you’re uploading one of your own fabulous photos, aim for the highest resolution that you can. We recommend a resolution of 300 DPI. That means the photo will print nice and crisp. You can also aim to upload photos that are as large as possible, so a minimum size of 210 × 297 mm is best.
What if I upload a small or low quality photo?
Low quality photos will be pixelated. A resolution of 300 DPI (dots per inch) gives you the best resolution for printing. Not sure if your image is right? We’re going to help you make the most amazing wine label, so shoot us a note with your pic to [email protected] and we’ll get you sorted.
Can I upload my own finished design?
Absolutely! Go ahead and create your masterpiece as a high-resolution CMYK file with 300 dpi (dots per inch). You’re welcome to upload either a jpg, png or pdf file. Our label specs are 150 x 105mm.
Will the colour of the label be exactly the same as it looks on screen?
Our printing technology is full colour (CMYK) print which means good accuracy with colour, however there is often variation when viewed through different screens. If the colour on your job is particularly important, then please email the team at [email protected] and we will work with you to ensure we achieve accuracy in colour.
Can I change my order?
No, once your order has been processed it goes straight into production.
Can I order again?
Great wine plus brilliant labels have a way of catching on, right? So if you have friends and fam eyeing your DIY Wine, why not hook them up with a case? From ‘My Account’, check out ‘Saved Designs’. Simply hit the re-edit button and you’re back in the saddle.
Is information in my label design protected and do I own the copyright to my design?

How long will my order take to deliver?
Orders are delivered within 14 days, due to COVID-19 restrictions.
What restrictions are there in terms of content being used on labels?
In short, nothing rude, sexualised or in general bad taste. We reserve the right not to print the label and will charge an admin fee of $50 if the label is obviously in bad taste.
What happens if I am not home to receive order?
Due to the fact our shipments contain alcohol, someone over the age of 18 needs to sign for the person who is accepting delivery and has stated they are 18 or over. You can make a request for the parcel to be left somewhere safe, but in doing so your warrant that the recipient is over 18. Our third party shipping companies will take a photo of the delivery as proof of delivery. Fowles DIY will not be responsible for theft once delivered.
Can I track my order?
Yes, once we hand your order over to our third party shipper, you will receive an email regarding status of your order when it is:

- On Board for delivery

Do you offer expedited shipping?
Sure do! This can be arranged at additional cost of $30 per order.
No, we do not offer international shipping currently.
Can we collect directly from Fowles Wine Cellar Door?
Yes, we can arrange for collection from Cellar Door: 1175 Lambing gully Road, Avenel, 3664. Please select that option at checkout and when your order is ready our team will call you.
What if my order is damaged?

Is my payment information secure?
Yes, we use eWay, an accredited global payment provided.
Do you offer corporate rates?
Yes, please email us at [email protected] with the type of wine and quantity of bottles you are considering.
Do you better rates for large events?
Yes, if your order is 60 bottles or more, of a single variety and single label design, we will consider additional discounts. Please email us at [email protected] with the type of wine and quantity of bottles you are considering.
Can I cellar the wines?
Absolutely! Due to the high quality of the wine, you can cellar for minimum five years. For our Premium Shiraz and Premium Shiraz Magnum, you can cellar for up to 20 years!
